Darrel transitioned to coaching after enjoying a decade of professional motocross (MX) racing. An experienced ErgoFit bike fitter, he has been coaching athletes at Science to Sport since 2019 after completing a Cycling South Africa Level 2 accreditation, Triathlon South Africa Level 1 accreditation, USA Cycling Level 3 accreditation and the Science to Sport Cycling Science online course.
