Working with you goes far beyond physical preparation for endurance events. As a biomechanics specialist, endurance coach, bike fitter and run analyst, advice and guidance on nutrition, logistics, tech, gear and everything else that will build a successful outcome is incorporated into the coaching process.
Coaching is, and should always be, a guided and collaborative process where you’re encouraged to have an increasing understanding and ownership of your progress and gain the knowledge of what your training involves and why. It’s about supporting and empowering you to understand the whys and wherefores of your training so you are a confident endurance athlete. The benefit of that process can’t be overstated.
Training for progression and events is a constantly evolving mental process as well as a physical one. You will have questions, general life will of course disrupt your training routine from time-to-time, the weather will also play its part and so will all the peripheral information and self-questioning that comes with thinking about your training. Working together will provide you with experienced and invaluable support and guidance to keep you on track and confidently moving towards your goals.
A coach goes beyond the training plan and ‘workouts’. A coach is in tune with the evolving process and subtle indicators that tell the broader story of the ebs and flows of your progression. As your coach, I'll add a holistic and collaborative dynamic to your journey.
