My aim is to help any rider from beginner to elite to achieve their cycling goals no matter how big or how small. I apply research driven coaching combined with my extensive cycling knowledge over 10+ years of racing to give my clients the best opportunity of reaching their optimal cycling performance come the day of the cycling goals.
I raced competitively up until I was 19 having had good success in junior races at home and abroad and also having the honour of representing Ireland at the European Track Championships. However, my interests still always lay in coaching and I turned my focus to that studying Sport and Exercise Sciences at Ulster University in 2015 and continuing to study a MSc in Strength & Conditioning last year to further enhance my knowledge of sports performance achieving a 2:1 in both degrees.
Last year I finally put my knowledge and experience to good use and began coaching riders from my local cycling club finding great improvements and success across the board. Although cycling races were at a minimum due to the Covid-19 pandemic, power and heart rate data feedback as well as physiological testing showed big improvements in all clients that were part of the Fast Forward team.
