I started compiting in triathlon in 1993, I competed in Sydney and Athens Olympic Games, I have wins in multiple Xterra World Championships and Ironman races around the world. My second place in Kona 2008 was probably the greatest result I had during my career but I’ve been fortunate enough to have many great moments during my sports career.
Retired from PRO competition in 2023, father of two kids, firefighter and triathlon coach now. Along with my wife Ruth Brito developing our triathlon school E-Tri Eskola for kids and women Since 2010 in our city Vitoria-Gasteiz.
