👋 Hey, I'm Patrick McCrann, head coach at Endurance Nation. I've been coaching endurance athletes for 20+ years, and I race the same stuff you do: 30 Ironman finishes, a Big Buckle at Leadville, 5 BQs and a top 10 at Unbound 200. EN has helped 1000s of age-group athletes get faster with the time they actually have. Whether you're following one of our training plans or working with me directly, the approach is the same: smart structure, no junk miles, and coaching that respects your life.
I started Endurance Nation in 2007 because I kept meeting talented athletes who were training harder than they needed to and still not getting the results they wanted.
The fix was never more volume. It was better structure, smarter intensity, and a plan that actually fit their lives.
This is the guiding methodology of our training plans & coaching programs: progressive overload, purposeful intensity, and strategic recovery to absorb the work. No junk workouts. No 25-hour training weeks for someone racing a 70.3.
I coach a small roster of athletes directly through our 1-on-1 and group coaching programs, and our training plans on TrainingPeaks are built from the same playbook. Every plan uses structured workouts that sync to Zwift, Garmin, and Wahoo, and each one includes weekly coaching notes so you know what you're doing and why.
Additionally, we created the **Four Keys of Race Execution (**our framework for helping you maximize every single one of your race days) and we are the home of the OutSeason (signature winter training program).
All of my experience is hard-fought: 30 Ironman finishes, Big Buckle at Leadville 100, top 10 at Unbound 200, and more gravel and ultra-endurance events than I can count. I'm still racing, which means these plans are built on actually works when the road gets long (and rough).
If you've got a question about a plan or want to talk about coaching, reach out. I answer every message.
