Drawing on her firsthand experience balancing elite-level training, academics, and work, Emma brings a unique perspective to coaching. She is passionate about helping athletes reach their potential while maintaining balance between sport and life. After her racing career, she spent five years teaching environmental education before committing to coaching. She is now the head coach of the Missoula Mammoths NICA team, works with Team Stampede (the local Junior Elite mountain bike and cyclocross program), and coaches an elementary-age mountain bike team. In the winter, she also coaches the local junior Nordic ski program.
Emma is pursuing a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology at the University of Montana, combining her academic studies with her athletic and coaching background. When not studying, biking, or skiing, she enjoys reading, traveling, and time with her golden retriever puppy. She is a Level 3 USA Cycling Coach, Level 3 NICA Coach, Level 100 ski coach, and SafeSport certified.
