I specialize in, and am seeking:
-->Athletes with recurring injuries
-->Long course and ultra distance age groupers
-->Age groupers looking for a breakthrough season (USAT Nationals qualifying)
I have lived and trained in the northeastern Unites States my whole life. I first got involved in endurance sports in 2007 at the age of 32 when a client encouraged me to enter a local 10km. At the time I was a competitive Olympic weight lifter and rugby player. The endurance lifestyle has forever altered the trajectory of my life and career; facilitated levels of fitness beyond my wildest dreams; and helped me build a skill set I use in every arena of my life.
I have a BS in Nutrition from Cornell University with a concentration in Exercise Science from Ithaca College. I meditate daily. I am an avid reader. I consider myself a decent home chef. I invest heavily in personal and professional development. Having instantly taken to triathlon hook, line and sinker, I was an Ironman 140.6 fanatic from 2008-2014, competing for and finishing 4 events. During that period I qualified for USAT Age Group Nationals twice. Along the way, I competed in dozens of multi-sport events of all distances. To date, the best performance of my endurance career was a 10:34 finish at Ironman US Championship in 2012. Family commitments, a major cycling accident and a growing business have caused me to take a hiatus from ultra distance triathlon for a few years.
I now train for and compete in marathon and ultra running events. I still swim and cycle for cross training, pleasure and coaching. I finished my first 50M run in November 2018 and am targeting a 100M event in 2020.
