Sports scientist (M.Sc.) and marathon runner currently preparing for a sub-3 marathon. Alongside my own training I coach a small number of runners online through TrainingPeaks. My approach focuses on structured, evidence-based training, pacing discipline, and long-term consistency to help runners improve their performance while keeping training sustainable.
I hold a Master's degree in Sports Science and work professionally with movement and human performance. Running has been part of my life for many years, first through football and now through endurance training.
Currently I'm training for a sub-3 marathon attempt (Düsseldorf 2026). Alongside that, I'm coaching a small number of runners online through TrainingPeaks. My goal is to apply evidence-based training principles and help athletes train in a structured, sustainable way.
My coaching focuses on a few key ideas: long-term consistency, smart intensity distribution, pacing discipline, and training that fits around real life.
Rather than simply handing out generic plans, I enjoy analyzing workouts, pacing, heart rate responses and training load to better understand how each runner adapts to training.
At the moment I’m especially interested in working with runners preparing for marathons, particularly those chasing time goals and looking for a more structured training approach.
