Experienced endurance coach working with athletes from amateur to pro level in both cycling and triathlon. I’ve coached multiple national champions in road, gravel, time trial, sprint, duathlon, and triathlon events.
What I focus on:
Most age-group athletes don't need more training — they need the right training, executed well on race day. My coaching is built around three things:
— Durability and fatigue resistance. This is my PhD topic and the area where most amateur athletes lose the most time on race day. Training that builds the engine but ignores durability produces fast 90-minute athletes and slow 4-hour ones.
— Race execution. Pacing, fueling, and decision-making under fatigue. I've coached multiple national champions and Ironman/70.3 podium finishers, and the gap between top-3 and top-20 is almost always execution, not fitness.
— Individualization through data. Every athlete gets a plan built around their physiology, life schedule, and target races — not a template. I use power, HR, lactate, and training-load metrics to adjust continuously, not once a month.
Coaching available in English, German, and Russian.
