Aperio means "to make clear; to reveal the truth." My role as a coach, mentor, and athlete is to use my experience and knowledge to inspire others. I believe each person has an inner athlete. Finding that fire and passion requires seeking, curiosity, and consistency. My coaching focus is masters' athletes seeking to develop a passion or go further in sport. I also love working with new to competition sport athletes trying to add a daily element of movement into his/her/their life.
My background is in swimming and softball. I started running at age 30 picking up triathlon at 35. I experienced great success in short course triathlon with multiple All-American titles and competitions with Team Usa as an Age Group athlete. Co-located in Iowa and Silverthorne, CO, I trail run, climb mountains, and ski.
