Deena Blacking

My aim as a coach is to enable you to achieve your goals and get closer to your potential through a programme of training that is tailored to your goals and motivations, your strengths and weaknesses, and the wider demands of your life. I aim to be transformational in my coaching; whatever you want to achieve, the key to success is building a strong and trusting relationship with you. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

I began cycle coaching in 2015, but have taught children and adults in many guises for more than 15 years. I regularly coach children and adults in group and 1:1 contexts; I work with British Cycling on their talent pathway, and regularly learn from world class coaches operating in the Olympic and Paralympic teams for Great Britain.
As an athlete, I understand what it feels like to follow structured training, to compete, and to deal with the mental challenges of endurance sport. I regularly race on the road and on closed circuits in England.
