I grew up playing soccer from 4 years old till 18 years old. When I entered college, I tried out for the soccer team and was cut from the tryouts. I decided to get more into mountain biking around Golden, CO where I was going to college at Colorado School of Mines.

When I transferred to CSU in Fort Collins, I joined their cycling team and the rest is history. I fell in love with the sport of all types of racing bicycles. In 2010, I finally found my current coach that worked well with my style and wasn't afraid to pull my reins when I needed it. I have always been self coached and taught before I met him.

I just started expressing interest in coaching in 2022/2023 as it's been a lifelong passion to inspire and enable more deaf athletes to race / find that sport connection. I'm excited to work more closely with athletes 1-on-1 rather than a generic public as I enjoy the rewards of seeing their accomplishments after their struggles / journey through their trainings.
