Bio

David is an Australian Level 2 Road & Track Cycling Coach. He coaches the Queensland State Junior Track Cycling Team, and the State Junior Road & Track Development Squad which equips riders with a full skill set for all track and road events. He is the Hamilton Wheelers club coach & runs their club track program coaching both track skills & preparing athletes for championships. David holds masters degrees in both Sports & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and is the Sports Physiotherapist for the Queensland High Performance Cycling Team. Clinically he offers professional bike fitting and sports injury management. He carries this level of professionalism into his coaching to provide a comprehensive level of service, and is uniquely positioned as an Sports Physiotherapist and Cycling Coach to optimise performance without overloading the athlete. He understands the key roles of mental skills training and the nutritional demands of cycling. His coaching clients receive one to one coaching tailored to meet their individual cycling goals, including high performance objectives, technical skills improvement, and optimising loads to enhance performance without burn-out. David prefers to work with athletes for at least 18 months prior to a major goal, with a minimum of 6 months being recommended. He will support you all the way through your cycling journey.
