DarkEarly is located in Platte City, MO. Our mission is to assist athletes of all levels remove the excuses; and discover their personal best through smarter, harder and healthier training. DarkEarly provides 1:1 coaching, monthly coaching plans, mentorship, training aids, consulting and skills clinics to those interested in personal and athletic growth. Tiffany Burris is the owner and coach at DarkEarly. She is currently a USAT Level 1 Certified Coach and a Level 3 USA Cycling Coach. She got her start with competitive running almost 30 years ago, racing at the national and international levels. After college she found herself interested triathlon and was drawn to mastering all three disciplines, and the transition. She often finds herself on the podium and has qualified multiple times for USAT Age-Group National Championships, as have her athletes.

To improve on her weak link she joined up with the local bike shop and was introduced to gravel and road cycling. It wasn't until she completed the Dirty Kanza 200 in 2018 that she considered herself a cyclist and decided she loved riding her bike, even though she was also competing in road cycling events and had competed in cyclocross in the past. She has coached several athletes across varying distances at the DK and other gravel, road and cyclocross events.

Tiffany's training philosophy is pretty simple: train smarter so you can train harder. She believes if you train smart, learn proper nutritional habits, and allow yourself to suffer just a little, you can become a stronger, faster, fitter, version of yourself without sacrificing all of your family and friend time. She is great at balancing the time between being a mom (or dad), an athlete and a professional.
