After his first decade as a racing cyclist, Fredrik Ericsson founded a company called Toppfysik in January 2003 out of a burning passion for training in general and cycling in particular. The company grew into a team of coaches focusing on Swedish cyclists of all levels in track cycling (velodrome), cyclocross, road cycling, and mountain biking. In 2019 Erik Åkesson joined the team and in 2025 Erik och Fredrik partnered up to evolve Toppfysik into D-VELO-P, to better reflect their commitment to ambitious racing cyclists all over the globe.
