I am a Level 3 Road & Time Trial Coach certified by both British Cycling and the Association of British Cycle Coaches. I work with clients across Europe, Australia and Asia as a National Master Wattbike Instructor, a Strength and Conditioning Coach and a Cycle Trip Leader. I specialise in endurance and ultra endurance, coaching road cyclists and mountain bikers of all levels. I provide expert training plans and individualised sessions to help athletes of all levels reach their cycling goals.
My main motivation for coaching is to develop riders of all ages and abilities, physically and psychologically to attain their dreams and goals. I believe in regular professional development in order to attain the highest possible level of knowledge and understanding, and to then impart that information to my athletes. After attaining a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Physical Education & Sports Science at Loughborough University, I have continued to build on my knowledge as both a coach and a teacher. In 2015, I switched my focus from teaching to cycle coaching and have been involved in the cycle industry ever since.
As a cyclist, I was a Silver Medalist in age group (40-44) in the World 24 hour mountain bike championships in Italy, 2012 and a silver medallist twice in the Australian National Championships in 2012 and 2013. I have since competed in Mountain Bike stage races in Australia, Mongolia, Spain, Poland and the Czech Republic.
Previously, I played semi-professional rugby league in England, France and Australia and competed nationally in bouldering and indoor climbing.
