Athlete turned coach. I trained under the founding team at Braveheart Coaching, including Lesley Paterson, Simon Marshall, and Alan Greening. I bring a passion for what cycling, running, and triathlon can do for both physical and mental well-being.
Multiple Ironman finisher, marathon runner, and coast-to-coast cyclist.
With seven Ironman triathlon finishes, a coast-to-coast bicycle journey, and numerous other athletic achievements under his belt, along with a passion for all things related to motivation and inspiration, Corey coaches athletes of all abilities through Braveheart Coaching Colorado.
He also serves as the CEO (Chief Engagement Officer) of Benefitness Partners, a Colorado-based provider of custom corporate wellness programs. Before co-founding Benefitness Partners in 2015, he successfully navigated a 22 year career in the investment management industry, where he led and managed product and sales teams, built and sold institutional investment products, and learned how to live a healthy lifestyle despite traveling more than 100 days each year. Corey held executive and senior management positions with ALPS Advisors, and was a Vice President and Director of Janus Capital Group, both in Denver.
His coaching is defined by a belief that each athlete is unique, while embracing a healthy balance of time-tested training techniques. This combination of art and science leads to a customized coaching relationship centered on regular client feedback.
Corey is a Certified Corporate Fitness Professional with the Corporate Health and Wellness Association, and is actively pursuing his Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification.
