After self-coaching myself to two successive Elite top-10s in the World Duathlon Championships, I attracted some interest from my friends and colleagues to start coaching them.
I started The Complete Athlete with a vision for a ground-up approach to endurance sport coaching, centred around building a strong foundation through solid Strength & Conditioning.
A Royal Navy helicopter pilot in my day job, I am used to building training plans around busy work-life schedules.

Through The Complete Athlete, I will start by critically assessing your movement competency and delivering an individualised suite of strength and conditioning to prepare your body for the rigours of endurance training. Well thought out S&C has the potential to increase performance, decrease injury risk as well as enhance recovery; making it a key focus of my coaching ethos.
Alongside this, I will structure your endurance training from the ground-up – helping you to achieve race-ready condition but always with an eye towards long-term sustainability and success.
Running form work will also form a key part of your training. I will analyse your current technique across a range of paces and, where we can, look to improve with use of drills and cues as well as tailored S&C.
