A coach needs to be the inspiration to an athlete, not just for performance & nutrition but on physiological level as well. The success of my approach lies in remaining interactive with my athletes.I am able and willing to listen and adapt to what the athlete needs are for their current situation, being a sounding board to training & their daily lives.I’ve been in the endurance world for more than 18 years & learned a lot; plenty of mistakes made by either not getting nutrition right, overtraining
I believe in health and nutrition first and when it comes to training “less is always more”. This understanding and approach has also been greatly influenced and beneficial for me as a balanced individual, as a devoted husband and father. Along with this, I’ve been in the endurance world for more than 18 years and learned a lot – this included plenty of mistakes by either not getting nutrition right, overtraining, not training correctly and the most important fact, not understanding RECOVERY.
I once weighed in at 130kg, it took me 18 months to drop to 90kg, I’m now between 79kg – 83kg. Depending on the season, race or maintaining.
I have experience working with my own Life Coach, Sports Coach, Physiotherapist and Biokineticist, this combination along with a coach to “run the rave” with you makes for the right recipe to grow and achieve your goals in a healthy, sustainable and realistic way.
Staying in touch with your support system is key to success. My programs are built on trust and a commitment to support and constantly checking in on the athletes with weekly feedback sessions.
This is a journey!
