As a certified Ironman coach I like to keep my athletes motivated by building a collaborative 1on1 relationship so that we can set challenges and reach goals. I believe in staying motivated throughout the training program and I believe that motivation is key in reaching goals that we will set together. I emphasise the word 'together' because I throw myself into this collaboration 100%. I believe in the science of high performance, recovery and visualisation coupled with positive self-talk.
As a personal development coach with an integrated lifestyle of health and fitness, triathlon was intrinsic to my daily routine. Starting off in 2016 I have raced in two countries and after attaining an All World Athlete status in 2018, I then turned my focus to helping others cross the finish line in an unofficial capacity.
In 2020 I became a Certified Ironman Coach and integrated crossing the finish line with my personal development coaching program called 'Under Your Influence', by helping people rediscover themselves, smile at themselves, release stuck patterns, find emotional freedom and at the same time offer them a chance to be physically challenged in a world they didn't think they could ever exist in.
Being in recovery for 7 years, Ironman was a VERY big part of my transformation and still is.
Becoming a Certified Ironman Coach was the final component of an extraction process that has allowed me to find the best version of myself.
But the journey continues. It will always continue.
And because I have redefined my core values and aligned them to the best version of myself, I discovered that there is more.
There is ALWAYS more....
I am an active coach which means I still race, both 70.3 and full distance with a keen emphasis on full distance.
