I'm an age-group triathlete (60-65), having competed in the UK, Europe and the USA over 15 years, and am currently trying to qualify for the 2018 World Championships. I use all my competition experience in my triathlon coaching, and only work with a small number of athletes so that I can focus on their ambitions and make sure their efforts are rewarded. I generally build plans and workout schedules that I've used myself so that I know they work.
I retired from business 2 years ago in order to follow my passion of triathlon and coaching. I currently work as a swim teacher, swim coach, and triathlon coach. I have represented GB as an age-grouper at European level (Silver medallist, 2012) and I've also competed in the USA and qualified for the USA National Championships in 2015.
Triathlons include: GB Championships (Liverpool. Leeds), European Championships (Eilat), Helvellyn, Bala, Slateman, Dambuster, Escape from Alcatraz and Santa Cruz.
My coaching qualifications include: British Triathlon, Gym Instruction, Swimming, Indoor Cycling, Strength and Conditioning, First Aid, Lifesaving.
I'm married with 3 grownup children.

My athletes must have two things: ambition and commitment. The rest we can work on.
