Coach Bio

I’m a doctorate-trained physical therapist and performance coach in the endurance and adventure space. I work with athletes of all levels, building fitness through thoughtful volume and load management. Programming is flexible, time-efficient, and individualized, with consideration for injury history, medical background, and real-life constraints. Training always prioritizes mental health, enjoyment, and sustainability, because progress sticks when the process stays fun and balanced!

I hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Elon University, completed with honors, and a undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from UNC Greensboro, also completed with honors. Over the past 4 years, I’ve combined sports physical therapy with endurance coaching, working with athletes across a wide spectrum of goals and backgrounds.

My coaching experience ranges from Everest Base Camp repeats and long-form adventure objectives, to gravel and road racing, Boston Marathon qualification, and helping athletes rediscover a love of movement through running or other forms of exercises. There is also a strong emphasis on the use strength training to enhance performance and reduce the risk of injury.

My philosophy is simple: you’re the expert of your own body, I’ve never lived a day in your skin. My role is to apply clinical reasoning, movement science, and performance principles in a way that fits your life. Training should support performance and mental health. Exercise is a tool, not a second job.

Programming emphasizes thoughtful volume and load management, injury awareness, and long-term sustainability. Enjoyment, balance, and flexibility are always prioritized, because progress only lasts when the process stays healthy and fun.
