With over a decade of racing marathon and ultramarathons, I have a wealth of experience as an older athlete that I carry with me into my coaching philosophy. I am an airline pilot and UESCA certified running and ultrarunning coach as well as an RRCA level I certified running coach. My specialty is multi-day self-supported ultramarathon stage races as well as ultramarathons. Being an older athlete who is accustomed to a stressful and chaotic schedule, I have an adaptive style when it comes to coaching. My training plans are custom tailored to each individual athlete. I have completed 6 multi-day 250K self-supported stage races (RacingThePlanet Atacama Crossing 250K, Gobi March 250K, Namib Race 250K, Jordan 250K, Antarctica The Last Desert 250K, and Southern Lakes Ultra 250K). My approach is to provide comprehensive training in gear selection, race preparation, and race nutrition plan development.
