Doug Fredrick   Drury Triathlon

We are looking for girls who desire to be leaders in the classroom and on the triathlon course.


Doug Fredrick is the head triathlon coach for the Drury Triathlon team. As a competitive age grouper on the USA Triathlon circuit, he qualified to represent the United States at the 2017 International Triathlon Union world championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands and is a USAT Level I Certified Coach.

Fredrick was a five-time conference champion in track and field at the University of Missouri-Kansas City competing in hurdles and the decathlon from 1997-2000. He was twice inducted into the UMKC Athletics Hall of Fame as an individual and as a member and team captain of the 2000 men's track & field team that won the indoor and outdoor track and field conference championships.

Coach Fredrick represented his fellow student-athletes as a national representative for all Division I student-athletes on the NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and NCAA Academics Eligibility & Compliance cabinet.

Coach Fredrick also runs his own law firm, serves in the Air Force Reserves as a JAG officer and is an adjunct faculty member in the Breech School of Business, teaching Entrepreneurship and Management classes.
