Hi! My name is Mike Gearren and I've been involved in the sport of cycling for over 15 years. I coach athletes of all levels and I'm here to help you achieve your cycling goals whether it's just getting fit or winning a race! My coaching style is more than just assigning training plans, I focus on getting to know each of my athletes as individuals so I can best incorporate training around their life while keeping it fun and engaging. #1 rule for my athletes is to keep it fun!

A little background on myself.....I started riding road bikes in my early 20s just to get some exercise but quickly was bitten by the racing bug. Over the years I worked my way up to the pro/elite ranks(raced 8 years), won a national championship, raced in Belgium and directed a domestic pro team. Now that my racing days are coming to an end I'm excited to share my knowledge and experience with others to help them achieve their cycling goals. I'm currently a Training Peaks level 2 certified coach and USA Cycling level 3 certified coach. I use Training Peaks to assign/analyze workouts and prefer athletes using a power meter and/or HR monitor but isn't required. I offer several coaching options listed below, please reach out to me with any questions!

Plan 1 ($200/month):
Includes Training Peaks premium account
1 phone call per week to check in and get training set
Training plan updated 1x per week
Workouts analyzed 1x per week

Plan 2 ($300/month):
Includes Training Peaks premium account
1 phone call per week to check in and get training set
Unlimited texting/email communication
Training plan updated as often as needed based on rider feedback
Workouts analyzed 2x per week

Coach Ride ($100/ride):
Analyze bike fit and pedaling efficiency
Give advice on equipment/nutrition
Assist with power test pacing

Race Day ($150/race):
Be your director/soigneur for a day
Give pre-race tactics/advice
Coach you during the race(radios if allowed)
Post race debrief
Feedzone/pit support
