10 years experience as a one-on-one endurance coach including working with hundreds of athletes both local and abroad while simultaneously being the Head Coach of the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB) Triathlon Team. I've coached beginners through their first event all the way up to professional Ironman athletes.
Since becoming a full-time endurance coach nearly a decade ago, I’ve worked with hundreds of athletes of all ages, training for a variety of different endurance events, helping them achieve their personal fitness and performance goals.
Participating in endurance sports throughout high school led me to Baylor University where I raced for the cycling team and co-founded the Baylor University Triathlon Team before getting my start in coaching through youth swim teams. From there, I worked as a Triathlon Coach for Carmichael Training Systems coaching clients from all the over world, while simultaneously being the Head Coach of the Triathlon Team at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) leading two athletes to individual Collegiate National Championships in my first 2 years.
In addition to coaching, I’ve been fortunate to race and compete as both a professional and amateur triathlete in races ranging from sprints to the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Although my first love is coaching and training others to achieve their goals, my experience racing and/or training on nearly every major olympic, 70.3, and Ironman in the United States has provided valuable insight into helping my clients.
Although I got my start through triathlon, I am also extremely passionate about training clients for a variety of different events and goals, from ultra marathons to long distance gravel cycling events to military physical fitness tests (PFTs).
