A competitive athlete myself, I am constantly learning new things about the sports I love. With ten years of running and racing experience and three years of multisport experience, I have encountered many coaching styles and philosophies, of which I was able to see what is most effective. Specializing in Duathlon and Running/Track/Cross Country, I have experience coaching myself to personal bests, and I am confident that I can coach you to yours.
Having run four years of competitive high school track and field and three years of high school cross country, I knew I was ready to continue racing at the collegiate level. I won multiple city championship titles, a state sectional title, and I anchored three state championship winning relay teams. In college, I became more in tune with my body after repeated injuries which hampered my progression. However, whilst on the sidelines, I observed how the coaching staff interacted with athletes, and how they tailored their plans to meet the athletes physical and mental needs. I started coaching myself for the Duathlon, creating structured plans that allowed me win multiple duathlon races including the North East Duathlon Regional Championships. In addition, I qualified for the AG Sprint Du World Championships, finishing 19th and 3rd American in my age group. Currently, I am the Associate Head Cross Country Coach at Bayonne HS, and the Assistant Coach for Indoor and Outdoor T&F specializing in the distance and middle-distance events.
