My name is Alex and I’m so excited to share my knowledge and love of swimming with you. I’m an Olympic Trials qualifier and former swimmer for Yale University. I’ve taught swimmers of all ages and abilities and focus on individualized instruction, mastering the fundamentals, and using data and technology to improve stroke mechanics.

I began competitively swimming at the age of 8 in Gilbert, AZ. As a competitive swimmer, I set eight Arizona state records, participated in the Western Zone Select Camp, and was a Sectionals, Arizona State, and Arizona D-1 High School State champion, eventually qualifying for the 2012 Olympic Trials.

I swam collegiately in Division I at Yale University. Here, I was an Ivy League Championship finalist.

From 2020-2021, I coached with Olympic coaches Dr. Dave Salo and Jon Urbanchek for the Novaquatics professional team in Irvine, CA, in preparation for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

From 2021-2024, I served as the Associate Head Coach of Gold Medal Swim Club where I helped the team win multiple Arizona Age Group State Championships and Sectional Championships.
