Matt is a Sports & Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist experienced in Cardiology, Sports Medicine, and Diabetes.

Matt's plans are comprehensive yet adaptable. He measures Vo2 Max / Lactate Threshold, incorporates apps, & aligns with your doctor's plans. He uses data from Apple, Garmin, Fourth Frontier, Calibre, Zwift, Supersapiens, Dexcom & Peloton.

For 20 years, Matt has trained athletes from elites to beginners - plus those with orthopaedic metabolic and/or cardiovascular challenges.

Matt has completed over 1200 hours of clinical training in Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Oncology, Pulmonary, Neurology & Endocrinology. He also has worked in healthcare operations and marketing in the areas of research, urgent care, primary care, rehabilitation, & specialty care.

Matt started running at the age of 10 and completed his first triathlon at 16. He raced competitively for Virginia Tech Cycling, co-founded Virginia Tech Triathlon, & coached the Duke Cycling Team.

Today, Matt races for Zoot Sports. He is an ‘All-World-Athlete’ Ironman Triathlete & a 3-time Boston Marathon qualifier.
