For 20 years, Matt has trained athletes from elites to beginners - plus those with orthopaedic metabolic and/or cardiovascular challenges.
Matt holds a MS degree in Exercise Science with concentrations in Performance Enhancement, Injury Prevention, & Rehabilitation Science from Penn West University. He has a BS degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, & Exercise from Virginia Tech.

Matt started running at the age of 10 and completed his first triathlon at 16. He raced competitively for Virginia Tech Cycling, co-founded Virginia Tech Triathlon, & coached the Duke Cycling Team.

Today, Matt races for Zoot Sports. He is an ‘All-World-Athlete’ Ironman Triathlete & a 3-time Boston Marathon qualifier.
