I am a British Triathlon Level 3 High Performing Coach and have been competing in triathlon and duathlon since 2008. I qualified as a British Triathlon Coach in 2015 and since then I have written training plans for dozens of athletes across a broad spectrum of abilities, from complete novices up to experienced athletes who have competed at all triathlon race distances from sprint up to and including Ironman.
Drawing from my experience of competing in many different sports over the years, I feel that my years of experience in these other sports can be used positively and there are many facets of each that can be transferred to coaching triathlon. I focus on the soft skills and athlete psychology that's required in order to develop a strong athlete / coach relationship, that ensures both parties get the most out of the training and racing. With the approach that I have towards coaching I am confident that I can deliver results that will help you to achieve the goals that you're striving for.
I specialise in writing programs for any level of athlete from complete novice up to and including Age Groupers.
