Combining wisdom, science and technology to take endurance athletes to new levels of success. One key component and often overlooked aspect of endurance sports coaching is teaching the importance of controlling the controllables. You can't control nature's elements, but you can control how to prepare for them, or your choice to be negative or positive when conditions are adverse, if that makes sense. I coach to be a tireless problem solver. Doesn't that essentially define endurance?
I've been racing in triathlon for 36 years and I've completed 300+ triathlons, including 24 full Ironman Triathlon events, including most recently, the Ironman World Championship in Kona, HI on October 8th. I have also completed two 100 mile ultra trail runs. I've worked in the multisport industry as a designer and photographer, and I finally decided, as a servant and ambassador of the sport, to pursue coaching other athletes. I am based in Bentonville, Arkansas, but as we've all learned during the pandemic, being highly effective remotely is very viable.
