As a coach, I feel it is important to learn about my athletes on a personal level, to understand what motivates each athlete. Whether training for an Ironman or a 5k, to place in an age group or just to finish, it is important to balance goals with the demands of everyday life. Such a personal approach to coaching allows me to sit down with an athlete, help the athlete develop goals and then create an effective and balanced training approach to help the athlete meet their goals.
Carrie is USAT Level 1 coach. She is also a certified U.S. Masters Swim level 1 and 2 coach, SPIN certified and TRX suspension training certified. She currently coaches the Lincoln Trail Master Swim team and leads 3 bike trainer classes each week in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She cares deeply about seeing people reach their potential and is great motivator.
