I coach committed endurance athletes who want to train intelligently and consistently. From ambitious 20-somethings to experienced masters athletes, I design individualized programs grounded in applied science and lived experience. My approach emphasizes calibrated progression, clear communication, and durable performance. If you value accountability and thoughtful training over hype, we will work well together.
Endurance sport has shaped most of my life. I competed as a Division I Nordic skier at Middlebury College and later raced in triathlon, trail and mountain running, road racing, and swimrun, qualifying for world competition in triathlon. Decades of training and competing on snow, trails, and roads inform how I think about endurance across different terrains and seasons.
For more than fifteen years, I’ve coached youth, collegiate, and adult athletes in triathlon, Nordic skiing, swimrun, and running. My role is not to hand out plans. It is to guide decisions. I look at the full picture—training load, recovery, life stress, physiology—and adjust with care.
I hold an MS in Education and an MA in Science Writing. I stay engaged with current research and translate complex science into practical, individualized coaching.
I work with committed athletes who value thoughtful progression, clear communication, and steady performance over shortcuts.
