I have been involved in a number of sports for most of my life and would like to help you achieve your sporting goals through following a structured workout plan that fits into your life and time constraints.
Structured workouts act as building blocks to achieve your fitness goals, where zones are constantly being reviewed and updated as you become stronger and faster.
I am a TrainingPeaks level 2 accredited coach, an accredited "UCI level 1 cycling coach" and hold a valid certificate from the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) after successfully completing my course and more recently my recertification of the "ADEL Course for Coaches of High Performance".
I have also successfully completed the following courses through the Sports Science Institute of South Africa:
* Training Essentials and Programme Design for Swimming
* The Essentials of Cycling Physiology and Coaching
* Endurance Running Training Essentials and programme design
In addition I have also successfully completed the following courses through the TrainingPeaks University:

* Introduction to Exercise Science for Endurance Coaches
* Introduction to Sports Psychology for Endurance Coaches
I have always been interested in analysing my own sport data and understanding and interpreting what the various data points mean. Sport is about having fun, but data will assist in highlighting and addressing areas to focus on that will make you both stronger and faster.
Structured workout training plans based on the results of data analysis help to focus training in areas that will be most beneficial and can help to minimise or avoid injuries and burnout in athletes.
I use a number of metrics for training and my programs can be set up based on power/pace, HR, RPE or even a combination of the 3.
