Beginning with a conversation about your goals, background, work, life and race schedule, and the resources you have available, I develop and then help you follow a structured training plan using research-based techniques for building fitness and detailed data analysis.
I grew up skiing and mountain biking in Bozeman, Montana, a destination ski town in the Rocky Mountain north which I still call home.
I am a graduate of the Bozeman Center for Healing Arts 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program, a Yoga Alliance Registered RYT200 Yoga Teacher, NSCA certified CSCS Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a USA Cycling Coach. I spent three years teaching hatha, restorative and vinyasa yoga classes and indoor cycling in a small group setting.
I have explored racing in a variety of aerobic endurance, mountain sports, and cycling events including: skimo and nordic skiing; triathlon from Xterra to Ironman; marathon and half-marathon running events; 24-hour relay mountain bike, marathon mountain bike, gravel grinders, Gran Fondo, sportives, and cyclocross. Some highlights include the Pierre's Hole 100k marathon mountain bike race in Grand Targhee, Idaho; the Prudential RideLondon 100 sportive in London, England; and Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
As a coach, I can help you move from recreational participation, hero weekends, and guessing whether what you are doing is working to having and sticking to a plan to compete against others, and enjoy doing it.
