Carson is a graduate of Brevard College in the cycling haven of Brevard, NC where he earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Exercise Science. He was also a part of multiple national championships through his time at school. He understands the balance of being a student-athlete: earning his degree while racing professionally. After this time, he helped found the growing Dirt Camp Racing program where he serves as the Head Coach and a Pro Rider to foster the next generation of riders.

With the scientific background to match his experience, Carson keeps focus on the wholistic and dynamic aspects of mountain biking and cycling. The biggest piece of the training puzzle is making sure you enjoy the process, because happy racers go fast! He believes there is no cookie-cutter path to accomplishing goals and is devoted to your journey.
