From bike shop racing through the junior years, his experience began to grow as he was able to gain a national championship and join European tours, including a couple World Championships. As a U23, he found his experience broadening even more as he took on the task at the pro level, joining multiple World Cup trips and a World Championship and adding a few National Championship podiums to his name. Carson is currently a Pro XC racer and Co-Founder of Dirt Camp Racing.
Carson is a graduate of Brevard College in the cycling haven of Brevard, NC where he earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Exercise Science with minors in both Coaching and Biology. He was also a part of multiple national championships through his time at school. He understands the balance of being a student-athlete: earning his degree while racing professionally.
With the scientific background to match his experience, Carson keeps focus on the wholistic and dynamic aspects of mountain biking and cycling. The biggest piece of the training puzzle is making sure you enjoy the process, because happy racers go fast! He believes there is no cookie-cutter path to accomplishing goals and is devoted to your journey.
