When I took my first summer job at age 14 coaching summer league swimming, I had no idea that this would eventually become my career! When I entered college, I was feeling burnt out on swimming and was looking for a new competitive outlet. I joined the club triathlon team and fell in love with the sport from the moment I crossed my first sprint tri finish line. I became so fascinated with understanding the data and science of endurance racing that I changed my entire career path. I graduated in 2019 with Bachelor’s degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology, along with a minor in Nutrition. In 2022, I graduated with my Masters in Sport Psychology. It is my mission to integrate sport psychology principles into my coaching, along with my education in physiology and nutrition, to coach from a holistic, evidence-based perspective. Additionally, my experiences from 11+ years of coaching swimming and as a lifelong athlete have made me adept at improving my athletes’ swim technique, whether you’re a novice or an advanced athlete. I hope to diffuse my passion for endurance sports and living a healthy, balanced lifestyle to my athletes, and it is a key part of my coaching philosophy to build a relationship with each of my athletes. I hope to not only challenge and motivate you to accomplish your biggest training goals, but also to understand you as a person beyond sport and have a positive impact on your life!
