I offer specially made training plans based on basic principles in training physiology. This is so you can train smarter whether your goal is to improve performance or peak at a particular time.
My training plans include power tests, block periodization or progressive overload designed so that you will have shorter sessions mid-week and longer endurance rides on the weekend to provide structure with family, friends and career in mind.
I have a bachelor's degree in sports with a specialization in the coaching role, with cycling as a sport. I am currently taking a master's degree in exercise physiology at an age of 24. In addition to my studies, I read a lot of research and articles about cycling, which I try to implement to my coaching. During my short period as a coach, I have experience in coaching cyclists at all levels from children to masters.
When I was younger I did cross-country skiing and biathlon, but switched to road cycling full time at the end of my teenage years where I have been self-trained. Even without trying to reach high national level or extreme amount of training, over the last few years I have achieved a VO2 max of 73mL/kg/min, much with the help of the training principles and research I have learned over the years. In addition, I am a very active Zwift user with more than 900 hours logged.
I will use training peaks to map your physiological profile and help you with your training. Using this I can see if you are overtrained, or leave too much on the table. We will then be able to find your strengths, weaknesses and limits, and help you achieve better results with a customised training plan based on your strengths and weaknesses.
I am happy to answer questions via email if there is anything I can help you with or if there is something you are wondering about. Do not hesitate to contact.
