Aspire2 offers customised, week-by-week run-coaching programs. These are tailored to your current fitness level, experience and goal(s). A key feature of the Aspire2 approach is inclusion of twice-weekly, run-specific strength-training. For local Clients, your coaching fee includes FREE attendance at two group strength-training sessions each week. I'm Jo Wood and my qualifications include:

Through my devotion to running, I have set- and achieved many previously-unthinkable personal running goals over the years. I began with road-running (5K, 10K, Half-Marathon [21K/13.1 Miles] and Marathon [42K/26.2 Miles]), before accidentally falling in love with trail-running when a house-move brought me closer to bushland areas. Over the years, my trail races have crept up from 10K to 100K - my favourite being the Ultra-Trail Australia 100K (UTA100). More recently, I rediscoverd my love of the road via the Sydney Marathon and Melbourne Marathon. I am experienced in Coaching athletes across both the road- and trail disciplines, ranging in experience from complete beginners to experienced athletes with a desire to raise their game. I also prepare athletes for multi-day events such as Alp2Ocean and Cape Wrath Ultra. I have found that by constantly setting myself running-related challenges, the potential for personal growth is enormous. Such learnings are transferable to other areas of life, including: Career; Family; and Ambitions. I am passionate about helping others experience this Journey:

  1. choose a goal;
  2. make a plan;
  3. commit to- and accomplish it.
