My expertise gives me the key to lock your endurance potential but I offer no short-cuts or simple training plans. Rather, coaching for me is about developing trusted relationships in which I am able to develop the best programme for you.
I've got over 15 years experience in sport, working with athletes and coaches from grassroots through to Olympic level. I'm a chartered scientist with a Ph.D. relating to cycling performance but tend to use holistic coaching methods.
I'm an innovative coach who doesn't follow the crowd and I like quirky athletes who are the same. The coach-athlete relationship is key so I'm now very selective of who I work with. You need to be committed to being coached and we need to enjoy working with each other.
I currently work with a few high-performing athletes on a one-to-one basis and coach in my local club too. In my full-time role at the University of Stirling, I teach on a professional MSc.in Performance Coaching helping professional and high-performing coaches be the best they can be too.
