Jeff completed his undergraduate studies at the Baldwin Wallace University, where he earned a bachelor of arts in physical education with a minor in physics. Jeff was a member of the varsity men’s cross country, soccer, and track teams, a scholar athlete, captain in 2010, and recipient of the Dave Demmerle award for excellence in athletics and academics. After undergraduate education, Jeff taught physical education to K-8, coached high school track, and was athletic directing for a couple of years until he returned to graduate school to pursue physical therapy. He studied at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, earning a doctorate in physical therapy. Following graduation, he relocated to Eugene, Oregon to work for Therapeutic Associates Inc. as a physical therapist to pursue mentoring, completion his board specialty certification in orthopedics, and his fellowship in manual therapy from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. In addition to being a physical therapist, Jeff is a certified track and field coach through (USATF). Outside of his professional work, Jeff races 5k to marathon distances at the amateur elite level. He is a 6 time Boston Qualifier, multi-sport athlete, and in 2023 founded Altus Endurance LLC to begin run and strength coaching athletes.
