Our focus is primarily on runners, duathletes, and triathletes of all ability levels but who are very motivated, willing to improve, and go beyond their limits.
Our coaching is based on science, numbers and data (power for running and cycling, WKO5 analysis, lactate testing, metabolic profile, HRV monitoring) but also very much on subjective feelings and individual needs. From sub-elite athletes to very busy corporate executives, my aim is to balance quality training with people's lives.
First and foremost, coach-athlete communication is key and I try to make myself as available as possible to adapt training and to discuss with my athletes as often as they need.
I am myself an endurance sports fanatic for a long time. The highlights of my endurance journey include Boston and French road running Nationals qualifiers, as well as appearances at duathlon international championships.
I received certifications from USA Cycling, Ironman and Stryd but I am also trained for lactate testing and gait analysis (with Run Scribe pods).
My coaching philosophy is based on the concept of making the most out of data, numbers, and science to prescribe to my athletes the best possible training that will help them improve in the most efficient way (INSCYD like). At the same time, I'm trying to use this analysis to prescribe the lowest volume that is necessary for an athlete to reach their goals. I'm a believer in establishing a good balance between training and others components in an athlete's life, and that applies to elite athletes as well as to corporate executives that I am coaching. I had myself a job that was highly stressful and demanding and I had to insert my training into it which gave me the understanding and experience of what may actually work for people.
I offer most of my coaching remotely but people based in Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, and west Germany can also meet me in person for 1:1 coaching and testing (lactate, gait analysis with RunScribe, and so on).
