Sport is a great mechanism for encouraging people of all ages and social demographics to enter in to a healthier and happier lifestyle. I feel that as a coach I am in a great position to encourage certain sporting values that can be applied in normal daily situations, such as team-ship, camaraderie, a willingness to improve, dedication and the possibility of achieving personal aspirations. I personally enjoy the feeling of belonging to a team. I find it very inspiring to watch my peers achieving their dreams and I really look forward to the huge sense of satisfaction that comes with being involved in helping someone achieve their goals whatever they may be. As a triathlete myself, I can recognize the similar characteristics shared by all athletes in myself, such as determination, a willingness to achieve and a desire to continue my improvement and reach new heights. As a coach i'm excited to be a part of that athlete's journey.
