30+ years of professional sports coaching experience to help guide you on your path to better performance and a better you. Over 40, a husband and father to two young children, Coach Carl knows what it’s like to work with limited training time and is passionate in delivering cycling & duathlon coaching services to time-constrained individuals. Happy to accept any athlete who is looking to improve their sportive, road racing, time trialing and duathlon performance.

Carl has competed across a range of sporting disciplines for the past 35 years; football, cycling, running, duathlon and triathlon. Having only 6hrs a week to train at best, Carl focused the majority of his cycling & duathlon training indoors. This tactic proved successful as he went on to compete at a good level achieving age group wins and podium placings in cycling and duathlon races well into his 40’s.

Being a husband, father and full-time football coach, Carl understands the issues fitting in quality training time, especially for Masters, Veteran and Junior athletes. Now an ABBC qualified coach (Level 3) Carl is available to help you with your cycling & duathlon goals:

  • Build basic cycling / duathlon fitness.
  • Help you achieve your best time at the next road race, time trial, gran fondo, sportive, duathlon or Strava segment.
  • Virtual racing or challenges. Achieve that personal best!
  • Learn and improve bike riding / running skills.
