Aleš is an applied kinesiologist, with experience coaching long distance triathlon national team athletes and many age groupers. He completed his MD in the area of central and peripheral fatique and now he is doing his PhD on macronutrients periodization and ketones utilization on endurance athletes. His background in academic worlds and competing as triathlete, inform his mindful but competitive approach. He is fueled by his passion for understanding the physiology of endurance
Aleš considers himself a ‘forever student’ eager to both build on his academic foundations in physiology and psychology and stay in tune with the latest training strategies through continued coursework.
His hunger for knowledge and determination to turn information into action has contributed to his most recent success. His professional athletes Jaroslav Kovačič, besides all his top level results and podiums, set his PB with 7.55 at Challenge Alemere 2018, he came third at Pontevedra long distance world championship 2019 and now he is catching his Kona dreams, Denis Šketako came 14th at the Pontevedra world championship, Željka Miličič Šaban set her PB with 9.19 at ironman Barcelona. Aleš who is competetive athlete himself has winning his second Kona slot at Ironman Italy 2019. Aleš is two time sub nine hours athlete and his mindfulness bring him close to 9 hours at WC Kona 2018 when he miss sub 9hours for only 28 seconds.
Aleš believes mindfulness in the workplace is key to success - a tenet he lives out through his passion about endurance sport, particulary long distance triathlon.
