I’m Mark Timlin, founder of 10x Performance. While 10x is more than an endurance coaching system, endurance and hybrid training form a core part of our focus. We provide structured, progressive programs through TrainingPeaks, from 5K to ultra-distance and triathlon. Our unique Strong Endurance approach blends strength and endurance—helping athletes build durability, efficiency, and resilience to perform consistently in sport and life.
As an athlete and coach with a passion for my testing limits across many disciplines in the endurance space over the years, I’ve completed half marathons to full marathons, Ironman 70.3 events to ultra-trail runs. These experiences that have given me first-hand insight into the demands of endurance training at every level. From chasing personal bests on the road to managing the complexity of triathlon, I understand what it takes to prepare, perform, and recover—both physically and mentally.
My coaching is grounded in this personal journey. I know the challenges athletes face: balancing training with work and life, staying consistent through setbacks, and finding the motivation to keep progressing. Having navigated these myself, I bring empathy and practical strategies into the coaching process, ensuring that the athletes I work with feel supported as well as challenged.
Beyond endurance, I have a strong foundation in strength training and coaching, which I integrate into my practice to help athletes build durability, reduce injury risk, and improve long-term performance. My focus is not on elite-only systems but on helping committed individuals—whether training for their first race or aiming for advanced challenges—unlock their potential through structure, accountability, and progression.
As both athlete and coach, my goal is simple: to help others experience the resilience, confidence, and satisfaction that endurance training can bring.
