I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue, I just completed my second half-iron and I have noticed after both of them, the roof of my mouth (the palate) is EXTREMELY sore if I attempt to eat anything. It feels like I was attempting to suck the roof of my mouth out. It only hurts when eating/swollowing food, drinks are just fine. It even hurt the next day. I thought at first maybe I was subconsiously sucking on the roof of my mouth during the race but I specifically remember not doing that as I was beathing through my mouth and ran/spoke with another athlete for much of the run. Any thoughts out there?

I am sorry if this has been posted already but I noticed that the temperature does not transfer from classic to beta mode. I typed 77 degrees in classic mode and recieved 171 degrees in beta, if I changed it in beta to 77 degrees, classic mode shows 25 degrees.
Uploading trouble from Polar RS800CX
Friday, January 30, 2009 11:51:00 PM(UTC)
I have a RS800 and I am able to upload without problems. I first upload the info into Pro Trianer via the USB stick. Then I go into Training Peaks and get into my daily log and workout. I click the upload data tab on the bottom of the workout. The I click browse, my files are stored in the default location placed by the Polar installation, so unless you changed yours, it will most likely be the same: C:\Program Files\Polar\Polar Pro Trainer\Your Name\ and then the file you wish to upload. The files are named by date starting with the year, so a January 5th,2009 workout would be labeled: 090105xx. The xx stands for the workout of that day. Each workout produces 2 .hrm files. You most likely want to pick the first file of each workout as it has the most information, I believe the second file only contains HR. So if you worked out twice on January 5th like a run and a swim. You would want to upload 09010501.hrm and 09010503.hrm in their respective workouts. Hopefully this isn't too confusing! Travis ;)

Thanks for the info. I ended up keeping my s410 for swimming and purchasing the RS800 for dry activities.

I just noticed whenever I upload workout information from either of my Polar HR monitors, the date is wrong in the "viewer" flash mode screen. They are in the correct date in my daily log and they are on the correct date's on my polar pro trainer software, and the dates are correct on both of my HR watches. Is this a problem within TP?

I have had the S410 for quite a while, I am looking into upgrading to the 625X. Anybody have one of these that would be willing to give me some feedback? Thanks.

This is a silly question, but I have never recieved structured swimming instruction and would like to know exactly what it means when it says "kick 200." Does this mean hold a kickboard and swim, or just focus on you kicks while still using your arms? Thanks.
