To help you meet your goals, I have posted new training plans for cyclists. They are easy to find on my training plan main page because they begin with “New 2010”. Read the plan descriptions to see if any of the plans can help you meet your goals.
Though I am most widely known for my popular ready-to-use triathlon plans and accomplishments in the sport of triathlon, my Olympic beginning was coaching a cyclist onto the 2000 Olympic road race team. In the past several years, I have had success coaching mountain bike racers to personal best performances at the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race. This success includes getting myself from a 12:59:55 finish, narrowly beating the cut-off time by 5 seconds and attaining the “Last Ass Over the Pass” trophy, to first in my category for two years and 10th overall female in 2009 (time of 10:08:05).
Athletes looking for an economical way to successfully meet their training and racing goals in the next year, now have a new resource. I will load more plans in the near future.
You can also find a large library of columns to help self-coached athletes on my website.
Hard-copy of these training plans and other training plans are available in the book, Training Plans for Cyclists
