So i bought a months membership in hope to get some guidance on my current rowing training plan.

In short rowing is not all that different to a cycling program I reckon. The majority of work done is at low intensity (for full time athletes). There is probably more work done at higher intensities than seen in cycling since there is some requirement for power. My opinion is the training intensity might be more similar to track (velodrome) than long distance.

Can anyone comment on the suitability of the annual training program and other features (like the performance manager) for a rowing program.

-My big events are over 2k (approximately 6.5 minutes flat out effort).
-I train about 8 sessions a week with one day resting.

What metric will you be using to measure your progress, HR, RPE, or is there a power metric that rowers work with?
